Natural materials bring warmth and light to San Francisco, resulting in an undeniable feeling of quietude. Redwood decking becomes stacked seating, becomes a boardwalk and picks up again in a curved bench. Softness is key with plantings of native fescue and carex forming a textural mosaic. Acacia, Leucadendron and Grevillea bring a taste of the client’s Aussie background.
